The recipes
This lesson is devoted to finishing the recipes the pupils started on the previous one.
You can add a timer to help them keep tabs on the time they have. It is very likely that some groups get lost in design details, which could definitely delay the delivery of their recipe.
It is also worth mentioning that having the computers ready for the pupils is essential to avoid wasting any time.
SESSION 7
At this point, the children have acquired the theoretical framework to work on their recipes. Now it's time to dig into the project.
Objective of the lesson: To finish the recipe
Improvement
As the groups feel satisfied with their production, provide them the checklist in order to make sure they included all the elements a recipe must contain.
Model how to use the recipe for the first 2 or 3 items, for it might be challenging at the beginning, especially if the pupils are not used to using this kind of tools.
